Aruba – “Sometimes hotels are convenient,” says Matthew Smillie, proprietor of Aruba Villa Vacation Homes, an Aruba vacation rental agency. “However, hotels are costly and don’t give you many of the benefits provided by an Aruba beach villa.” Visitors have found plenty of reasons for choosing Aruba villa rentals. Below are some of those reasons.
Facilities: Vacation rentals in Aruba often offer more room, particularly in the public living spaces, than hotel rooms. Travelers can enjoy larger kitchens, dining areas, and living rooms than those found in the majority of hotels. Additional space permits a group to remain together and share one another’s company. Often, rental homes also supply high-speed Internet, DVD players, game rooms, cable, and other features. If a hotel room has a kitchen, it’s frequently rudimentary. However, vacation rentals usually have well-supplied kitchens that let a family gather at meals.
Cost: Vacation homes often save travelers money. This is particularly true for guests who are visiting for more than four or five days – when a hotel s daily chargers start to add up. Big groups in particular can really save money on the cost of multiple hotel rooms. A rental home’s full kitchen also permits a group to avoid the expense of eating each meal out.
Privacy: At a vacation rental, a traveler won’t feel like another face in the crowd. As the “owner” for the week, the visitor can come and go in privacy. Children will enjoy more space in which to play, and parents don’t have to be concerned about excessive noise. “Vacation homes give the feeling of privacy and freedom that you just don’t get with a hotel,” observes Smillie. “The vacation will feel more like an intimate family gathering and less like a corporate experience.”
Outside Spaces: Most renters particularly enjoy having an outside area where they can grill, play, or eat. Frequently, an Aruba villa rental has a beautiful garden, deck, or porch. Properties often come with pools, so guests won’t have to share their swimming experience with other travelers. “If you re looking to enjoy the outdoors, vacation homes provide a lot more opportunities,” says Smillie.
Location: Frequently vacation areas restrict where companies can situate big (or even small) hotels. However, an Aruba accommodation can offer vacationers a wide variety of options for where to stay. Guests have a better chance of finding that house near a lovely, but isolated beach or one that’s in the heart of a sedate, residential neighborhood. Additionally, if travelers want live like a native resident – as opposed to a tourist – a vacation rental home is the way to do it.
