Palma de Mallorca Airport is located about 9 km (5 miles) east of downtown Palma, Majorca. A modern facility with multiple passenger concourses and plenty of shops and restaurants, the airport is the third busiest in all of Spain. Major airlines and their primary destinations served by Palma de Mallorca Airport include:

Getting To And From The Airport
Drivers can take highway Ma-19 directly from downtown Palma to the airport exits. Arriving passengers can pre-book a reservation through Palma Airport Transfers and have a shuttle or private vehicle driver meet them inside the terminal hall. A number of rental car agencies have service desks on the ground floor of the arrivals hall, with vehicle pickup and drop-off at the airport itself. Licensed taxi service is available for passengers arriving on a Palma flight, and are found at curbside at the arrivals hall gate D area. Private shuttles can be hired to take passengers to and from all the major resort hotels in the Palma area.
Airport Features
Palma de Mallorca Airport consists of a main terminal hall and four different concourses. The main parking garage is located directly in front of the terminal hall and is easily accessed from the freeway exit ramps. Tunnels connect Level 4 of the garage to the departures area, and an automated walkway links the passenger arrivals area to the car park. The parking area is auto-pay, with numerous pay stations located on the various floors of the garage.
There are a number of fine shops located within the terminal hall as well as the four concourse modules. These include Duty-Free, jewelry, shoes, gifts and handicrafts, and pharmacies. Restaurants can be found both in the public areas of the main terminal as well as the departure modules areas (restricted to ticketed passengers only). These establishments offer burgers, sandwiches, pizza and salads, and there are several beer gardens that serve fine brands.
There are two VIP lounges at the airport. The Formenter lounge is located on the departure level near the entrance to Module D and includes satellite TV, self-serve refreshments, meeting rooms and full internet connection. The Miro VIP Lounge is found near the boarding area of Module B and is free for all business class passengers. It offers air conditioning, complete newsstand, telephone booths, and disabled access.
Passenger Service Information
La Caixa Bank has a branch in the airport terminal, and a number of ATMs are found throughout the airport facility. Currency exchange services are provided. Lost luggage help is on the ground floor of the arrivals area. The airport provides excellent WiFi and wireless internet connection throughout the terminal facility, provided by Telefnica de Espaa. Traveler’s first aid service, police station, and postal office are found on the second floor of the terminal hall.
